After finished the class ,we went to a Japanese restaurant to ate noddles and it tastes pretty good.Then we walked to the Honolulu Museum of Art to enjoy the art and humanities. The museum was divided into several parts such as Asian Art and Arts of Hawaii and Europe .Each parts have different culture and aesthetic value, although I may not understand what's the meaning of the art stand for ,I feel relaxed and peaceful to enjoy the world of art.
The museum was closed in 5:00 pm,so we decided to go to the Waikiki beach to watch the sunset.I have been to Hawaii for about a month but this was my first time to sit down and wait for the sunset.And take it for me, this is the best place to date and watch the sunset together quietly.Cause this was my first time to see the sunset in Hawaii beach,I thought I will never forget the inspiring sight in the future.
The waikiki beach is not far from UH,so we decided to walk to school and enjoy the moonshine(another reason is that the bus was not available then). During the whole day,We walked about 19.7 kilometers a day,hang around and enjoyed a tired but meaningful day.
What a well-filed day! Someday, I want to enjoy my free time like you! However, I might use the bus... I could not walk a lot because I do not have so much physical strength... Anyway, do you like arts? If you know some place to go relating to arts in O'ahu, please tell me! Not only arts, some place to go to eat as well;)
ReplyDeleteWow, you had a great day. Since I am not interested in an art area, I had not go to any museum before. However, I think it would be a good opportunity for my family to visit an art museum. Also, my family often go to several beaches like Waikiki,Sunset beach, Kailua beach park and so on, parking was very difficult for me because there are not sufficient parking lots. I will try to walk to the Waikiki someday.
ReplyDeleteIt's not far away from UH,and it is the best way to get into the Hawaii and be familiar with the route.The most importance is that we can enjoy and cherish the time with our family and friends.
DeleteI have found several places to eat.One is"Agu Ramen Bistro" the Japanese restaurant that mentioned in my Blogger,and the other one is "Aloha Vietnamese Foods". both of them are near S King St.It's not far from UH and will cost 20 minutes to walk there.

ReplyDeleteHi, Yiran. You enjoyed fine day, that's great. Especially, I am attracted by you taking sketching class. And I empathize with your embarrassment. When I tried to draw nude model at first time, I was 20 years, probably. It was held in small gallery near by my house. before I start, I was so upset and very nervous. But once the model took her clothes off and drawing started, I gave myself up to drawing easily because the nude woman turned into just a motif. All I had to do was follow the volume of motif and express it on a piece of paper. I hope you get interested in various kinds of art works through the class.
